Over My Head
Hey friends! I'm not sure if I've mentioned it here before, but I guess now is as good a time as any. A while back, I bought an electric guitar off of Craigslist from a creepy old woman named Shecky, who had one wooden leg and a police record a mile long. But no worries, she assured me that the serial number wasn't a necessary part of the instrument's ability to play sound.*
So I brought it home and have been practicing and learning new stuff. I took a songwriting class when I was in high school, and was able to learn basic chords on a bass guitar. Needless to say, this goes a bit outside of the norm for me—it's been a while since I picked up a guitar. But I felt the desire to have one so I could work on adding sound to my writing.
* Totally kidding about that whole situation. She was quite the opposite.
